منذ زمن بعيد، كان هناك سيد شياطين يروع العالم بأسره حتى قام بطل بالوقوف على المسرح وتحدى سيد الشياطين، وبنجاح هزمه وأنهى حكمه. ثم أسس البطل أكاديمية روزوود، أكاديمية تهدف إلى مساعدة الأبطال المتدربين على تحقيق السيادة ومساعدتهم في الدفاع عن العالم عند الحاجة، حيث يتم تسجيل فقط أفضل الأفضل. تأتي آرنست فلامينج، فتاة ذات شعور عالٍ بالواجب وأفضل طالبة في الأكاديمية، وبالتالي تحصل على لقب “إمبراطورة اللهب”. تقابل ذات يوم الطالب الجديد بليد، وهو شاب حيوي ومرح، ويبدو أنه يكافئها في القوة، وهو أمر يثير انزعاجها بشدة. طُلب من آرنست بشكل شخصي من قبل الملك أن تشرف وترافق بليد خلال إقامته في الأكاديمية. تتابع القصة نضال الطلاب في سعيهم لأن يصبحوا أبطالًا.
