السنة 2052، والعالم يعيش فترة من السلام والازدهار لم يشهد لها مثيلاً من قبل. والسبب أن البشرية تمكّنت أخيرًا من القضاء على المرض والمعاناة. فقد ابتكر العالِم العصبي الحائز على جائزة نوبل، الدكتور سكينر، دواءً ثوريًا يُشفي جميع الأمراض دون أن يترك أي آثار جانبية ملحوظة، وأطلق عليه اسم “هابونا”. سرعان ما أصبح “هابونا” جزءًا لا يتجزأ من حياة البشر، وانتشر استخدامه في كل مكان. لكن، وبعد وقت قصير من إطلاق الدواء رسميًا، اختفى الدكتور سكينر بشكل غامض. مرّت ثلاث سنوات، واستمر العالم في المضي قدمًا… حتى عاد سكينر فجأة — لكن هذه المرة، بوصفه نذير دمار. أعلن أن “هابونا” يحمل عمرًا نصفًا قصيرًا، وأن كل من استخدمه سيواجه الموت خلال حوالي ثلاث سنوات. العالم على وشك الانهيار، والموت بات وشيكًا. لمواجهة هذا الخطر الداهم، تم إنشاء وحدة خاصة تضم خمسة عملاء من مختلف بقاع العالم، بهدف إنقاذ البشرية من مخطط سكينر المدمر. أطلق على هذه الفرقة اسم “لازاروس”. فهل سينجحون في العثور على سكينر وتطوير لقاح في الوقت المناسب؟
Lazarus
In 2052, a Nobel Prize-winning neuroscientist develops a drug called Hapuna — a cure-all that has the unexpected side-effect of causing death three years later. In response to this threat, a special force of agents—nicknamed "Lazarus"— is assembled to take on the malevolent Skinner.
